Notre Dame's Brian Kelly, Marcus Freeman, Tommy Rees & More Talk 2021 Recruiting Class
Notre Dame wrapped up it's 2021 recruiting class yesterday by securing the signature of 3-Star RB Logan Diggs out of Louisiana. ND brings in a huge class of 27 players which ranks 9th in the nation according to 24/7 Sports.
Overall I think this class is very, very good. Brian Kelly and Tommy Rees got the QB they wanted in Tyler Buchner. After watching all his highlights and hearing about his knowledge of the game to me Buchner is a clear cut 5-star player. Buchner is special and I believe he will be a great one if developed correctly by Rees and the staff.
Getting two elite RBs in this class was tremendous work by coach Lance Taylor. RBs Audric Estime and Diggs are two important additions to a backfield that only has 3 RBs currently on the roster (Kyren Williams, Chris Tyree, C'Bo Flemister).

LET'S GO!!!! Great news today as SportsCenter has broken the news that EA Sports is bringing back one of their most popular games: NCAA Football.
It's been 7 years since EA Sports dropped their NCAA Football game because of Ed O'bannon's lawsuit against the NCAA for selling their likeness without compensation. For the gamers out there this is like winning the lottery.
Now the question is who makes the cover of NCAA Football 21? The last time the game was in production it had Michigan's Denard "Shoelace" Robinson on the cover. My bet is Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith getting the cover honors.

Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly loves to chug from his rivalry trophies
When you are 8-0 and #2 in the country you are allowed to chug Gatorade from the rivalry trophy and that is exactly what Brian Kelly did after Notre Dame beat Boston College.

Clemson wide receiver Cornell Powell got a little ahead of himself Saturday night on a hot mic. After Clemson took the lead Powell shouted at the NBC Cameras "You can't fuck with us" and clearly Notre Dame could fuck with them.
Since Notre Dame is now in the ACC they will gladly ACCept Powell's apology for his potty mouth.

Notre Dame QB Ian Book post game Clemson press conference
Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book is now 26-3 as a starter. It's time for the media and the fan base to show him the respect he deserves. I couldn't be more happy for Book to get the big W vs #1 Clemson. Book played his ass off and deserves the pat on his back.
Notre Dame vs Clemson an Instant Classic with a 2OT ND win 47-40
It doesn't get much better than this for long-suffering Notre Dame fans. Notre Dame extended it's nation's long 13-game winning streak and handed Clemson their first regular season loss since 2017 with an epic 47-40 victory.
With the win Notre Dame has moved up to #2 in both polls, it's highest since 2012 when they were #1. Knocking off #1 Clemson brought back memories of 1993 when Notre Dame beat another top ranked ACC opponent that day in FSU. And just like in 1993 ND will need to refocus all of their energy on Boston College the following week.
With the win Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly has now compiled a 40-6 record the last 3.5 seasons. Notre Dame QB Ian Book played a terrific game and is now 27-3 as the starter. Most importantly Book and Kelly shut up the naysayers who said they couldn't win the big game as an underdog.
Hats off to ND RB Kyren Williams who was outstanding from his first carry to his last resulting in touchdowns on both while running for over 140 yards. The Notre Dame lines beat the shit out of Clemson on both sides. The offensive line opened up holes and pushed around a very talented Clemson front. Likewise on the defensive side the ND defensive line sacked Clemson freshman QB D.J. Uiagalelie (who was sensational in only his 2nd career start) twice in the 2OT and held RB Travis Etienne to only 28 yards rushing on 18 carries.
From start to finish this was a classic nail-biter. Hopefully in about a month we can get a rematch in Charlotte for the ACC Championship if ND and Clemson both win out.
